SYNOPSIS:

Elijah Smith does not want to die, but his body has other plans. He has enlisted the aid of the brilliant Dr. Douglas Bayron to ensure that he does not die along with his body. Together they transform Smith into a purely technological entity.

The success of their experiment with immortality quickly has unforeseen consequences which place their lives and the lives of everyone they love in harm's way.

Before he becomes completely separated from his biological body, Smith begins to question what it means to be human. They soon discover that the answer to this question is not just philosophical and that the lives of millions of people may ultimately depend on the answer.
